- Size. If you want a round table, don't go bigger than five feet in diameter. Otherwise, you won't be able to reach the center and get your chips.
- Legs. Poker tables with pedestals are much more comfortable to sit at than ones with four legs.
- Arm Rest. While you might like the look of tables without one, having an arm rest makes games far more comfortable to play.
- Shape. While custom poker tables come in any shape you can imagine, you may want to consider steering clear of those with corners. No one like sitting at the corner of a poker table. Circle or oval poker tables are much more pleasant to sit at.
- Design. When going custom, you can have anything made. Consider choosing custom playing surfaces, ebroidered designs, chip racks and leg styles.
- Manufacturer. To get the best custom poker table cut out the middleman, and always work directly with the manufacturer. That way you're talking to the people who make the table and are more likely to get exactly what you want. Also, check the reputation of the manufacturer before buying. If you're going custom, you want good quality.
