    For the best tasting wine, here are the three things your wine needs. Without those conditions, after three to five years your wine can turn bitter when left at room temperature.

The Ideal Wine Storage Unit Has/ Is:
  • A consistent temperature between 55 and 58 degrees Fahrenheit
  • A consistent relative humidity between 55 and 75 percent
  • An environment free of smells such as onion or garlic, which can seep in through the cork and spoil wine.
  • Away from direct sunlight.
